Rural retail business, assisted by the Rural Entrepreneur Assistance program
Rural Entrepreneur Assistance
Access to capital is vital to new business starts, expansions and the purchase of existing businesses. Small and home-based businesses are especially important to the growth of our rural communities.
Delivered by MASC, Rural Entrepreneur Assistance (REA) helps by providing loan guarantees to financial institutions that are prepared to offer full-time, small and home-based businesses in rural Manitoba with the financial support they need to be successful.
Loans are made to owners/operators and may be used for the purchase of fixed assets, inventory and/or working capital. Funds cannot be used to pay existing debts of the company or any individual, nor can loans be transferred.
