Management Training Credit
The days of the 'simple' farm are long gone, replaced by an agriculture industry driven by a producer's business acumen, marketing savvy, and technological knowledge.
The Management Training Credit encourages farm management training for young farmers in areas such as business and financial planning, tax implications, marketing, employee management, and computer usage.

Program Features
The Management Training Credit is a {program_details::max_percent}% credit on the principal amount of an MASC loan, up to an annual maximum of ${program_details::max_annual} (available in each of the first five years of the loan). The lifetime maximum credit available is ${program_details::max_lifetime}.
The staff of Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives will develop training plans and requirements based on individual consultations. Eligible training is available from recognized educational facilities and from Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives.

Eligible Applicants
Qualifying young farmers (18 to 39 years of age) must satisfy annual training and other requirements. The Management Training Credit is available for most loan purposes.
