Environmental Enhancement Loans

Environmental Enhancement Loans assist producers in modifying their current operations or management practices, to become more environmentally sustainable while maintaining a viable enterprise.

Environmental Enhancement Loans finance the producer's share of related project costs and provide an advance on government contributions available from the Canada Manitoba Environmental Farm Action Program and the Manitoba Sustainable Agriculture Practices Program.

Program coverage focuses on Beneficial Management Practices (BMP) projects such as improved manure storage, handling and treatment, relocation of livestock/horticulture facilities and other BMPs that may involve a substantial capital commitment.
