Welcome to the Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation website.

Manitoba, the easternmost of Canada's Prairie Provinces, is a rich land ideal for agriculture - fertile soils, clean flowing water, and warm growing seasons. For almost a thousand years the province's inhabitants have relied on its bounty.

Today, Manitoba producers keep over 19-million acres in production, raise 2.9-million hogs and over 1.6-million cattle, with gross agricultural receipts totalling in excess of $4-billion. Agriculture is, was, and will continue to be the keystone of Manitoba's economy.

Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation (MASC) fully supports the province's producers and rural communities, through innovative and targeted risk management and financial programs. MASC is represented across Manitoba by 19 insurance offices and 16 lending offices, with corporate offices located in Portage la Prairie and Brandon.

MASC Insurance insures 60 different crops against reduced yields and the perils of nature - hail, flooding, fire, and more. AgriInsurance premium costs are shared between insured producers and the Governments of Canada and Manitoba, while the Hail Insurance program is fully funded by producers.

MASC Lending bridges the financial gaps that are not adequately filled by traditional financial institutions. MASC Lending offers a wide range of Direct Loans and loan guarantee programs for agricultural purposes, as well as the Rural Entrepreneur Assistance (REA) program for small businesses in rural Manitoba.

MASC also supports initiatives of the Governments of Canada and Manitoba by administering and delivering programs such as Wildlife Damage Compensation, the Farmland School Tax Rebate, and other programs as needed.

MASC is also home to the Manitoba Management Plus Program, which provides farmers with improved access to meaningful production and management information. Check back frequently for the latest data, new analysis tools, and more.

MASC is committed to building a strong rural Manitoba. For more information about MASC and its programs, please feel free to explore this website - inside you'll find program descriptions, dollar values, seeding deadlines, lending rates, and much more.
